This is for those of you who don't know much about South Korean geography. Ulsan is located along the southeastern coast of the Korean Peninsula. It's about 45 minutes outside of the second largest city in the country, Busan. All of South Korea is only about the size of Indiana; however, the country is home to over 48 million people. You can find us on the on the water facing the Sea of Japan, this is a picture of Ulsan below.
You just wouldn't believe everything that goes into leaving the country for a year. First, it was finding an employer, then it's the visa application process, and now we're working on cancelling our phones, transferring bank accounts, packing for an entire year with only two pieces of luggage, and tying up all the other loose ends that arise. P.S. If anyone needs a car I'm trying to sell mine!!! We have about 10 more days to go and so much more to get done. Feel free to give us a call or stop by and help us pack if you feel so inclined, but as soon as we leave the continental US our phone numbers will no longer be working. We should have easy internet access to help us keep in contact. Anyone interested in chatting or web cam can visit http://www.skype.com/ to set up an account.
I'm gonna do my best to keep the blogging up and keep everyone informed on what's going on with us in South Korea. Stop by and visit every now and then if you want and let us know what's going on in your life too!!!
